NYPD cops broke up a crowd of individuals consuming booze out of pink plastic cups — and certainly one of them turned out to be an ex-con with an unlawful handgun who ran off and later informed officers they solely caught him as a result of he was “drunk,” in line with prosecutors.
The suspect, Kahmel Mobley — who’s awaiting sentencing on state grand larceny rap — had a fanny pack strapped throughout his chest whereas he and a number of other others allegedly boozed on Schenectady Avenue close to St. John’s Park in Crown Heights at about 10:30 p.m. on June 5, in line with a federal criticism unsealed in opposition to him Monday.
Six NYPD cops, who have been using in two totally different vehicles, pulled as much as the group after recognizing the pink cups, in line with the criticism.
