A Texas man allegedly set a hearth that killed his brother and badly burned his mom as a result of the pair didn’t comply with the Bible, a report mentioned.
Philip Mills, 40, has been charged with capital homicide and arson over the Thursday evening blaze that left his 54-year-old Paul Mills lifeless within the household’s El Paso dwelling, KTSM reported.
Police mentioned the suspect copped to the vicious crime and instructed police he used gasoline from a weed whacker, which was poured onto a lounge sofa, to ignite the lethal inferno, in line with an arrest affidavit obtained by the outlet.
After allegedly setting the house on hearth, Philip waited exterior “with massive rocks in his arms” in case his kinfolk made it out alive, in line with the affidavit.
Philip’s 82-year-old mom, Annette Mills, managed to stroll out of the house and was rescued by first responders. She was hospitalized in crucial situation.
