A day after profitable the Democratic mayoral major, Eric Adams made good on a marketing campaign promise — by getting an ear pierced.
The previous police captain posted the footage of his left lobe getting needled Wednesday on Twitter.
“On the marketing campaign path a gaggle of younger folks met with my son & me. They requested ‘how do we all know you’re not like different politicians who make guarantees they don’t maintain,’” he wrote.
“They mentioned we’ll belief you for those who promise to pierce your ear whenever you win the first. Promise made, promise saved!” he added.
In feedback after the jab, he says: “Already lived as much as my first promise to that younger man. So, for those who see it on social media, younger man, I informed you I used to be going to do it and I simply did what I promised.”
He provides: “Day one dwelling as much as my promise.”
